At some point we have to stand up to unacceptable behavior if we want to preserve anything resembling civil society. In many respects, M.S. McClellan's is the quintesssential American business and we should all rally to its defense. Even when I was a young buck, new in town and couldn't afford to shop there, the staff still treated me with dignity and respect whenever I visited just to look around. I'll always remember their many kindnesses. There are lots of us in town who feel the same way. Hang in there Matthew. I am glad that Matt, Bob et al are working with the police on this. I can't imagine any viable reason for such attacks. I am praying that all at the store are blessed with peace of mind through this trial, and that the perpetrator has a change of heart and stops this insanity. Envy can be an ugly thing. It's especially ugly when it leads to attacks on one of the few independent clothing stores left in the area. The personalized attention that customers receive there is a major part of what has led to M.S. McClellan's success. I, for one, am grateful for it.
